Associate Professor, British History, Department for Continuing Education. Fellow and Senior Tutor, Kellogg College
Pronouns: she/her
I'm currently Senior Tutor at a large, international graduate college, Kellogg College, and I'm particularly committed to the experience of graduate students in Oxford, including part-time and mature students, in addition to graduate access. My research is on the decolonization of modern South Asia and has been supported by funding from the AHRC and British Academy. Recently I've presented history programmes on BBC television including a series on the history of Asian migration to Britain. My first experience of Oxford was as a History undergraduate at St. Peter’s, and I was also a doctoral student at St. Antony's, and held posts at Edinburgh and Royal Holloway before returning here in 2012.
