I work closely with the core administrative team to support the smooth running of the Institute and facilitate the cutting-edge research that takes place here. It's important to me that we provide a welcoming and inclusive building and community to work in. The Allies training is great for taking time to reflect on scenarios where we may have the opportunity to support LGBT+ colleagues in work and/or social settings. The trainers generously share their own lived experience, and I left feeling positive that small actions can add up to help create an inclusive environment.
