Before coming to Oxford, Ming worked in HR roles in five different countries for a large international company, and is familiar with issues related to diversity, equality and inclusiveness. She has particular passion in talent management, and is keen that best practices in recognising, recruiting, retaining and developing talented staff – irrespective of their ethnicity – are embedded in Oxford. Being an alumna of the University, she would also like to ensure that current students feel welcomed and thrive when they are studying here, and so will retain a warm memory of their alma mater.
