Jane Garnett is an intellectual and cultural historian, who has published on gender, religion, and visual culture, and on the history of debates about social and economic ethics. Her recent work has focused on the place of religion in shaping cultures of diaspora and migration. She is the Co-convenor of the MSt in Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies and of the TORCH programme Women in the Humanities; and she is the Academic Lead for Equality and Diversity in the Humanities Division.
