Global Centre on Healthcare and Urbanisation, Kellogg College
Pronouns: She/Her
I am very proud to be a transgender woman, and am passionate about improving visibility and support for LGBT+ staff and students in Oxford, particularly those in the trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming community.
Joining the Role Models programme was an important step for me, as I greatly appreciated the opportunities I had to meet with LGBT+ colleagues within the University when I was navigating the difficulties of my own journey. Their kindness, support, and solidarity made a tremendous impact on me as I encountered the challenges of transitioning mid-career and coming out to colleagues as my true self.
I am very happy to be contacted at jessie.weavers@kellogg.ox.ac.uk, and am particularly keen to offer support and advice to new and current transgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and gender questioning staff.
