I have worked for the University of Oxford for 15+ years and have been proud at how inclusive the environment has been and open to explore new ideas and initiatives. We have come a long way over the last few years, but still have a long way to go also.
I am passionate about supporting others – through my professional and personal life – and wanted to extend this across the University to become an LGBT Ally. I am also a trained Mental Health First Aider and Harassment Advisor and I take an active role in the leadership of this community with other colleagues at the Said Business School.
I have led on various global gender and diversity focused initiatives in my roles over the years and always strive to create an environment where people can be comfortable, be themselves and be honest. Being your authentic self is the key to happiness and success, so creating an environment to harness everyone’s potential is crucial.
I enjoy expanding my network and look forward to connecting with more people.
