Danielle Hoare

I’m the HR & Communications Administrator in the Nuffield Department of Women’s & Reproductive Health. I feel lucky to work in such an inclusive and diverse department and understand the deep importance of these values, however understand that there is always room for improvement in ensuring our staff and students feel safe and comfortable to be themselves fully.

When I first heard about the LGBT+ Allies workshop, I was very keen to take part. The nature of my role involves communicating with others on a day to day basis, so becoming an ally seemed a no- brainer.  I wanted to understand more about the challenges people may face and can now proudly say that I am an ally who is always here to offer support, listen and help combat the stigma around LGBT+.
