I work as a postdoctoral researcher at the Wellcome Centre for Human Genetics at the NDM in Headington and I am also a Junior Research Fellow of Somerville College. I decided to train to become an LBGTQ+ Role model as a means to encourage and support others in any way I can. I believe that increasing visibility of LBGTQ+ staff at Oxford is very important, not only for our current staff and students but also all those wishing to come study/work here. Increasing visibility encourages inclusivity.
