Update on the Race Equality Task Force final strategy
What’s been happening
The Race Equality Task Force has been busy this year analysing the data and responses received during the consultation in Michaelmas term, which sought feedback on proposed measures to accelerate race equality in our institution. Priority areas have been reviewed against the wealth of valuable input from staff and students, with many constructive and insightful ideas informing our strategic plan.

The full consultation results report will be published soon.
What’s to come
In the coming weeks, the Task Force will share the proposed final strategy and resourcing plan, presenting to divisions and committees before seeking approval from Council at the end of Trinity term. Importantly, these outputs will feed into the University’s next Race Equality Charter submission planned for July 2022.
